I have 2 cats, my girl has always had trouble with UTI for years, on and off antibiotics. Always urinating small amts, frequently, sometimes with blood in it. Got tired of placing her on antibiotics a few times a year. I did research. Learned it is not Infection (UTI) but Inflammation. Idiopathic, so no one knows quite sure where it comes from. What I did learn, food (kibble–is really bad for cats, raw is best but at the very least canned), stress is a factor (and since I got my boy, they are at each other, as well as my 2 dogs who want to play with her, but she’s not having it). Got them off kibble , and on raw food (no easy feat! and made sure I added a good supplement with taurine), got some holistic formula for urinary tract health. Helped a little but not any great big deal. Came across this site while searching. I first tried the Cat Calm (for both) and urinary Catplus (for my girl) and it made a significant difference. I recently added CATalyst (I read it helps with the inflammation), and that did the trick. I highly recommend these 3 products to anyone who has problems with their cat’s urinary tract.
