As it turns out, our boy, Scotch is not nearly as fond of Dubsmash as we are… though I believe everyone will enjoy his ‘special appearance’ and acknowledge what a great addition he is to this week’s episode. That face is priceless.
Today I learned that school is back in session, and that Jae’s father is responsible for her annoying habit of mowing the lawn before the birds wake up – early risers should consider adopting a ‘weekend clause’ to their ‘best practices’. My opinion.
In addition, I feel I must address an earlier promise… On social media, I stated my hope that our videos would improve over time. I felt that the more time we spent ‘getting the hang’ of our weekly show, the more polished we would become. While we still endeavor towards this goal, I confess that this episode was a bit of a set-back. For our own future edification, and perhaps your entertainment, I’ve included some of our unpolished and downright train-wrecked moments.
Healthy Cat Tip of the Day
For our more serious viewers, rest assured we’ve still included a valuable Healthy Cat Tip of the Day…
Hydration is very important for cats. Their natural diet in the wild is made up of 65-70% water from their prey. A purely kibble diet (also called dry food) is not sufficient to contribute to a cat’s healthy hydration. Raw diets are considered the best, but if you cannot afford a raw diet for your cat (or you cat just won’t eat raw, like some of our finicky friends), be sure to give them a sufficient amount of wet food. And, of course, be sure to keep a bowl of fresh water available at all times.
Stay hydrated, my friends!
