This week the Two Crazy Cat Ladies played a game that they called, “How Well Do You Know Me?” After our 15 year relationship we should both be able to answer most any question about each other. Nonetheless – I won. π
Adrienne’s fun feline fact this week is that cheetahs are the only feline that sleep with their claws unsheathed. What that means is… don’t wake the cheetah. Heehee.
My fun feline fact is that approximately 1/3 of cat parents believe that their cats can read their minds. It’s true. They can. In fact, I sometimes think that our cats can read my mind better than I.
Favorite Moment Of The Week:
Mine was a back adjustment at the new chiropractor I saw (boring) and Adrienne’s favorite moment was when she watched the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. We’ve always been great about making sure that our cats get the best diets and supplements and stay in tip-top condition, but when it comes to our health – we aren’t quite as good.
It’s Hairball Awareness Time!!
Cat Tip Of The Day
Making sure that your cat can digest the hair that they ingest through grooming is key in keeping the hairballs away. I wrote a post about hairballs that will give you the 3 steps needed to keep the hairballs away a few months back. Basically, you want to be sure that your cat is getting the nutrients needed in order to shed the least amount – AND – you want to also be sure that they’re getting the digestive enzymes needed to absorb and push through the small amount of hair that they inevitably will ingest when grooming themselves. Our product, CATalyst, does both – it keeps the shedding down AND gives your cats digestive enzymes so that they can process the ingested hair. Can’t beat that. π
