Times are rather crazy in 2020 and there are lots of questions as to what’s really going on. COVID-19 has everyone’s anxiety up and many of us are staying quarantined. Maybe you’re debating whether to wear a mask or not when out in public.
Where we live, masks are required when you are in any public place – but that’s not the case everywhere. I open up social media and see so many opposing opinions of the subject. Some people wonder why masks are not required everywhere, others don’t believe in COVID-19 at all.
Whatever category you lean towards, I want to respect others who may be more fearful of the virus in their space. That means I wear a mask into the stores that ask their customers to do so. To me, not doing this would be disrespectful.
Well Check This Out…
So… since it’s inevitable that everyone will have to wear a mask at some point… what would you think of making it safe, stylish, comfortable AND life-saving to homeless kittens at the same time???
Yep, you heard me right. A local small business is custom-making these adorable, super comfy, ultra protective masks – selling them for ONLY $10.99 – and giving a piece of the proceeds to a kitten rescue out of Los Angeles, called Kitten Critical.
In the LA area, they don’t allow TNR programs. Because of this, kittens are being born on the streets in massive amounts with little chance at life. Kitten Critical is working day and night, saving these kittens, nursing them back to health, finding them foster care and/or loving, furever homes.
When our friends at Mooch’s Munchies asked us to be a part of this venture, we couldn’t pass up the chance to help. Not only are these masks the best we’ve worn, but their also the most affordable price we’ve found – for anything cute and protective! Sharing this information with the cat community is important to us. You’re helping yourself and homeless kittens. It’s a win-win!
Simply use the code KITTEN when you purchase a mask – or KITTENS if you purchase more than one (they also offer 2 for $20) and the proceeds will go to Kitten Critical. 🙂
